All my life, I've done great in school. (Kind of amazing, seeing that my mom was a drug addict while pregnant with me.) I'm a sophomore in high school, and depression is stealing my drive to do well. I'm only doing a little worse than I do, but as a perfectionist, this is so frustrating. I always enjoy school because I know I'm good at it. I've only had a few B's in classes during my whole life, and I find myself getting dragged down by not caring. I'll just be more depressed if I start sliding too far away from my normal good grades.

so are you talking to a counselor to address the depression? I wish I had gotten my mental health issues addressed in high school so that I didn't have to struggle so much throughout my life. if you aren't seeing someone talk to your school counselor...take care.

Yes.. I had an attachment specialist but that didn't work out. In the process of finding a new therapist. So stressful... very frustrating. Feel like I'm missing out on my whole high school experience
