I am finishing up a masters program this week...I've got three exams and a paper to do/study for before next Monday. I had my first exam today. I studied very hard for it, a lot of effort and I think I did alright. Now, however...

I'm exhausted. Can barely move.

I get caught up in things. Best way I can think of how to put it. For example, last night I was washing my hands. I reached for the towel to dry them before I even turned the water on to wash. It's like complex movements that I do unconsciously are falling apart.

Driving. Driving scares me when I am at my best. Like this, however...coming home from school (I go to school an hour away, so it is a long drive) was frightening. I got confused as to why things were happening, where sounds were coming from-and I panicked a bit.

What can I do to get through this without getting in a serious accident? Not studying as hard is tempting, but I really need to do well on these final exams. If I get more than two Cs, or under a C in any one class, I won't graduate. There are two classes that I really can't afford to mess up the exam in.

I suppose I could ask for an extension on the paper, but I really just want to be done.

I could ask my dad to drive me to school before he goes to work everyday (school is in the same direction but quite a bit further down the expressway) but he wouldn't go for that I don't think.

I know that exercise helps with stress, but I'm too tired to exercise. Seriously, I'm too exhausted to just go for a simple walk around my neighborhood.

Help!

Thanks

maybe just knowing you have an extension on the paper would take the stress off of you. just because you have it doesnt mean you have to use it. your health and safety are more important. i was having a complete breakdown it felt like when i was in school...well i actually did...but it was midterms and two papers due all on a thrusday so i asked for an extension on the one paper. i got everything else done, took my tests and then completed the other paper and had it turned in by sunday even though i had a week to complete it. i just needed a bit of the stress taken off me to be successful and make it thru. good luck.
