I don't know why, but at the moment I am always tired, and this is making school nigh on impossible. I'm pretty sure I've always been getting enough sleep but yet at some point everyday since we've come back to school I have got so tired that I'm having difficulty functioning properly. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? And it's obviously making school a lot harder for me because my mind is often sort of not there in the lessons...

I just don't know what to do

Maybe you are just tired because you started school and you feel the difference with holidays, or for the season change. Certain years the chance can be harder than usual. You could try with some vitamins or integrators to take every day. I take them when I have a period in which I'm particularly tired, and they are usually helpful.

I agree with BeaFlower that the change of seasons tends to make me sleepier, particularly the fall. Or maybe school is affecting your mood which can cause fatigue??

I have the same problem. I constantly feel tired all the time. I am not sure what it is, but I might ask my mom to go see a doctor about it, since I would like to know. I am seeing a highly skilled doctor at a children's hospital, but that's not until Christmas and what they are looking for I don't think has anything to do with this other condition but.... you never know.

I always feel tired 3 hours after I wake up from a 12 hour sleep. Anyways, hope you figure out what you are dealing with Why am I so tired all the time? .

UPDATE: It got a lot worse, to the point that I could not go to school because I was so exhausted. But as a result of this I spoke to my mum, who figured she'd try me on some iron tablets or something and luckily it seems to have worked and for the past few days I have actually been feeling awake and functioning normally! So looks like after all it was probably just an iron deficiency...
