Hi i feel like i need one bad. i am very depressed ,mostly at school. I had one last year but she restired. and its in my iep i can have one. I requested one but thei refuse to give me one. their only let me talk to my gudince counselor. what should i do? Aslo only a few times their let me talk to a psycholgist

never give up, keep trying for one, maybe you only get one chance to see a psychologist, I'd ask to see their criteria to get one, and if you meet the criteria, tell them

It's possible that seeing a psychologist is time limited. Do you know exactly what your IEP states? Because if it just says something like 'counselor', that doesn't necessarily mean psychologist. At my school, they do a short-term therapy model, meaning that you are only allowed to see the psychologists X amount of times and then they refer you out if you need ongoing care.
