I recently decided to quit a dead end program and go to school on my own since I'm not getting any younger. The problem with a lot of these low income opportunities is that they only support really lame job opportunities for completely free tuition.
I narrowed down what I would actually like to do with my life, to this list. Diagnostic Medical Sonographers HR Manager And Clinical Psychologist So if anyone has any ideas on scholarships, grants I might not have already thought to look into or anything other idea that could finance my schooling for one of those options, I'd appreciate it. I have like only 10 days to completely know what I want to do with my life, and re-write my life plan. as I have a meeting @ the local community college by then. I just want to be ready and sure by then. Either way, STILL SO VERY HAPPY AND STOKED!!! :P Wish me luck <3 ![]() |

For starters fill out the FAFSA. It is free to do and the information will be sent to the college of your choosing. Then the college will get in touch with you about the awards like grants or loans.
Also, check into scholarships offered through the college. If you plan on starting in fall I would fill out the scholarship application soon. When you visit a college see an academic advisor and they should be able to answer questions and give you ideas. Maybe talk to someone in the financial aid department as well. Good Luck! |

Eris, you might want to pick a school and see what they recommend/have available; this is mine, for example:
