My grades are fine, and the teachers like me, but I have no friends, and I don't care about school.

Often, I don't pretend to care. During Math, for a few weeks, I would just leave, and use my phone in the bathroom. In most of my classes, I just use my phone while the teacher talks. I never actually finish classwork, and I usually copy homework off of other people.

I don't dislike school, though. I just don't care. Do you have any advice for me? I hate being disruptive, and hurting myself and others.

Hm-m-m-m... well, Dancer29, you said your grades are fine. So you must be doing something right... maybe just doing a good job of picking out the right classmates to copy from? You also wrote that the teachers like you. So there again, it sounds as though you're doing something right. Of course it would be nice to have friends. But it's not mandatory & you didn't say anything about this being of great concern to you. Perhaps the stuff you're being taught is just not anything you're interested in. In that case, maybe it's simply a matter of finding some extracurricular activities that are of interest & that challenge you mentally. This may not make your classes any more interesting. But at least you'd have something to feel excited about outside of class. Beyond that, I'd suggest talking about this with a school counselor, a trusted teacher, or other person in real life.

Don't do this to yourself. Enjoy your school days, they will never come back. Make friends and enjoy. It's good to be brave and just don't care, but it's also good to be sincere and honest towards yourself. Hope you understand!

When is your semester over? It sounds like you need a break. Stick with it though and do the best you can.

Perhaps you lack interest in studies. This may be a reason for not caring about school. Why don’t you adopt some interesting strategies to study? Get yourself enrolled in extracurricular activities that help you break the monotony and enjoy your school life.
