So, I qualified for a nine day program at any of the nation's top ivy league colleges due to my academic success. I feel pride just coursing through my body because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It cost about $4,000 I need a chaperone because of my physical limitations and my dad doesn't support me at all. Because of his fiance. And I'm trying not to lose my head but it's hard not to when I earned a chance to gain knowledge in my career of choice and possibly get a $20,000 scholarship and yet "it won't benefit you in any way..." guys. I can't handle things right now. I've been going through a lot of episodes and I feel so burnt out but I want this so bad.

You have every right to feel proud. That is quite an achievement. What a shame that you're own father doesn't support you. Have you thought about GoFundMe?
Thanks for this!

I see. Thanks for explaining the situation to me. I sure hope that you can go. Let me know if you put up a GoFundMe page.
Thanks for this!

I would love to make a small contribution to help you go to Harvard for your seminar. You have worked so hard for it. Are there any other local foundations like a community foundation that you could apply to for funds for this opportunity? If you would like some help identifying some, just ask. I have experience in this area, and I would be happy to help you identify some scholarships/grants to help you get to the seminar.

Good luck!
