Something in psychology but I feel as though , it’s going to take a lot to do it and it haunts me I gotta go through a lot of years of school again , but at the same time if it’s something you’re really determined about I don’t think time matters unless you lose passion really quickly.

You can do it, shanicechan! You sound really passionate about it. As for me, I don't know what I want to do in the future, that's the dilemma

I wanted to be a published author, but I'm not as passionate about writing as I used to be. I don't even read much anymore.

Anything that doesn't require me working 40+ hours per week.

I hate working with a passion. It is soul sucking and painful for me.

So basically something involving freelancing or ecommerse as those are the two best ways to make a decent income on a part time schedule.
Thanks for this!

I am a writer today, so that means I'll probably be a writer in the future as well.

But seriously, I'd like to teach in some capacity, whether it's at the university level or not.

I don't really know!

I am currently getting my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration; so ideally after getting that get my Master's and hopefully be working as a Clinic Practice Manager by the time i'm 30. Right now I am a Referral Coordinator/ Junior Practice Manager and I love it; so I know that this is my future.

I am doing my undergrad in Psych at the moment. The plan is to do my Masters after and then be a registered psychologist (you don't need a PhD where I live).

Once registered, there are two areas I'm interested in. One is just in private practice doing counselling with adults over the age of 18 or 21 (still deciding). This appeals to me because I can work from home and make my own hours, both of which are very important to me.

The second option I'm considering is in the area of forensics. I'm really, really interested in the issues that drive people to a life of crime. I'd be interested in working with first-time offenders and helping with the rehabilitation process to keep them out of the justice system in the future. The down sides to this are many - it would likely mean working for the government which means a 40 hour work week with limited vacation and sick days (no thanks), it would also be significantly less money, and if I wanted to truly work with first time offenders I would likely be working with youth, and I have no interested in working with children and youth.

I would consider a combination of both (maybe part time in the penal system while I build a private practice) but at the end of the day...I have so much school ahead of me I might be dead before I graduate. I'm starting school very late in life - I'm 44 and just finishing my first year.

I plan on being a practical nurse (LPN,) but I am not sure what specialty.
