... I have one that I just want to punch in the face sometimes...

No one likes her and she can't catch a clue... Thank goodness there is only a month left before I graduate.

We are currently ignoring one another's existence, which is an improvement...

yeah... Any bad roommate stories?

I have had 5 different roommates tell me they did not want to be my roommate, because "we have different schedules.." " I did not answer how I was.." (I was quite inward then..) "They were not as sweet and innocent as me" all strange ****ing strange reasons.

That was college, I have maintained my roommate here post college life for a year now, it is going great, guess I have come into my own..

I hope your next roommate is a good and nice one!

I had a roommate in college who smelled like dirty feet all the time. She also managed to pee on the toilet seat almost every time she went. One of our other roommates called her out on it and from then on she was nasty to all of us (there were four girls total in our dorm room). This happened in October so we dealt with her constant "bad mood" from then until the end of April. Nice.

I currently live with my boyfriend, who's messy, and his son, who's the most disrespectful young man I've ever encountered, as well as a total pig (I posted on here about them both). I kind of consider his son a roommate, I guess. And his habits make the days of tinkle on the toilet seat seem like no big deal

YES. Oh my gosh. I've had 3 roommates over my 2yr college career and ALL of them have talked **** about me. Most of the time I just sit here surfing the net but every single one of them has said I give off negative energy and am weird or odd. I don't understand!

My roommate last year had a chinchilla that chewed up all my stuff. Covers off my textbooks, the cable for my laptop, other cables, kids' homework (I was a grader for one of the math sections) - ANYTHING I left out.

Plus, she let it run around all over all the time, and they take baths in sand/dust, so there was sand/dust all over everything, and it would just poop all over and she'd never vacuum up after it.

Ugh, nightmare. She and I didn't get along very well while we were living together.

That's awful! Reminded me of another bad roomie tale - can't believe I could've forgotten about this one. I had a roommate for awhile who had two dogs - both were lab mixes. One of them went into my room one night while I was at work and proceeded to eat the sleeves off my new $230 ski jacket, which I had worn maybe three times at that point. He got in because my roomie went into my room to borrow a CD and forgot to close the door when she was done. In addition to the jacket he also ate the crotches out of three pairs of my sweatpants that were on the floor, ate about a third of my concert ticket stubs that I'd been collecting since I was 13 years old, as well as part of the tackboard they were on, and ate half of my body pillow - cover and all. He then puked ALL over my room - floor, bed, closet, there was even some splashed on the walls. When my roomie found this mess what did she do? She closed my bedroom door and didn't mention it to me at all when I got home. We sat and talked for about an hour, and then she went to bed. I opened my bedroom door to this delightful scene. I could've killed her.

That's awesome. I went to art school for a while, but quit, and now I'm about to graduate nursing school. I miss art, but I'm hoping I can still find time for it once I get out of school =] Or I could even try using some art therapy for pts ^^ I would love that.

Oh wow! That is really awful. I would have FREAKED out. Especially if she didn't do anything. Did she offer to pay for your stuff or something?

Well, seeing as how I'm 17, I've never lived on my own with a roommate, but while growing up my mom often times had a roommate to help support raising us. Now, her roommate choices weren't bad, they looked like punk rockers but they were actually really nice people who liked to play with us once in awhile and didn't have bad habits really. The only issue I ever had with them is they really wanted to smoke inside and I really didn't want them too...well, I was more persistent then they were and eventually won.

The only time when we've had bad roommates is when we had to move in with my step-brother. On top of being...himself (I'm not going into his history at the moment) he was with two guys who SEEMED like nice guys until they showed their true colors. The first guy left pretty early into our residency...he said something bad about something and that pissed off my step brother so he punched him in the face (high school behavior much?)...if I recall correctly my step dad pulled them apart (He's a big guy, and it helps he used to work for this rehabilitation center for problem kids) well, that was game over. The other guy stole my thing from my brother, I guess he wasn't good at paying his bills and that's a bad thing because he liked to order porn a lot. In the end he was kicked out and we later found out he was put in jail for rape.
Thanks for this!

Yes, she did... initially. She couldn't stop apologizing for about three days. Then it was like she forgot all about it. She lost her job shortly thereafter and before long could barely afford rent much less to cover the damages her dog inflicted! And I felt uncomfortable talking to her about it. I ended up not getting anything from her at all

I used to have a room mate who brought her boyfriend after 2 yeras. b4 she had the idea of her boyfriend coming she was o.k i thought she was a nice lovely girl but - -

first - she asked me to move out! When i didn`t want to we started getting those..you know..like..its about to explode but still quiet.
After she knew i didn`t want to move out, and discovering that her boyfriend didn`t have the money to pay for a new apartment - she said that i should pay 50% of the rent and each one of them - her boyfriend and her - should pay 25% - because they live in the same room we have 2 rooms and a kitchen.

Then she said nothing about it and sudddenly when we sighn the papaer - with the owner of the apartment she said he bf is coming - the owner asked. My parents told me to pay. We both paid 50%accoding to the papers but - my parets told me that from the stories i told them they guyessed that bf of hers wouldn`t come. he came ho he did! A small baby of hers thats all he was! and then they had thoughs angry conversations couples have at 12 AM in the kitchen -and i had to hear.... instead of sleep....

once she slept in my room when i was away at my parents`without asking me because "guests came" ...once she washed her shoes and put them with the dishes!
i suspect they did all that **** because they wanted me to move out....
it was when my bf slept w/me and as he woke up we saw that...he probably thought he was in an asylum or something

anyways i am ahppy i am through i moved out....now live alone....
recently i had a nightmare that she came ot live w/me in my apartment! lol!
Thanks for this!
