Ok, I have realized just how much of a nerd I am. I am actually making my real life into an RPG, or role-play game. What I've done is made a system of "quests", which are household chores or going to therapy, things like that, in which I get EXP (experience) points, in order to level up. I also get a set amount of "energy" each day. Each "quest" requires some amount of energy. Each level has a higher maximum energy and health points. Overall, the stats are energy, health, strength, wisdom, and stamina. Stamina can be earned by completing "quest bundles" in which I choose a set of "quests" to be completed by the end of the week. I get 10 points per quest bundle, and when I reach a certain amount of stamina points, I get a prize. Like if I get 10 stamina points, I get to buy a new bracelet for myself. 30 points = 1 new t-shirt, etc.
What do you think?? Here's the link for the info I came up with. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...thkey=CLqsqssO I copied and pasted from a ms word document, so some of the editing is all screwy. For the full .docx file, just PM me your email address and I can email it to ya. |

That's awesome. I've been meaning to set something like this up for myself, but I never actually do it. I think it's a great step that you were even able to put something like this together.

Very creative and interesting idea! I love the rulebook and might borrow some of your ideas, if I may. Questions: who rolls the dice, and what happens on a natural 20??

Haha. There are no dice. Each quest is assigned points by me, however i think it should be.

This post brought a smile to my face. I absolutely love the idea!!! Have you started implementing it? I am curious how it is working.
