I've been distracted this whole week. Checks bouncing, unauthorized charges found. Traced back to friends house, police report filed, calls to bank. Today friends son arrested on felony fraud and narcotics! I'm getting fully refunded, bank reversed bouncing fees.

Ok, gotta get back on track. I have done nothing today. Nada.

Going to floss, waterpik. Back for job stuff.

Well done on everything you've achieved!! ((((startingfromscratch))))) But sorry you had that scare with the bank stuff. Very relieved to hear that you will be fully refunded!!

Time for a new To Do list! By the end of the weekend I need to:

- Buy my Mum a Birthday present and get it in the mail to her
- Buy my husband's Birthday present and hide it
- Do my Group Therapy homework
- Buy some new plants and so some planting and other yardwork
- Reply to 4 emails

Hey sundog good luck with your list.

So thankful for this group. I've accomplished 2 big things: got a lawyer, I still have issues a year later from a car accident. I never got reimbursed from Progressive for paying my own medical bills, I couldn't get any answers from them. I figured out why my bank account was never reconciling.

I've been pretty stressed this week. My motto has been: its going to be ok. Even illness and death are ok- why fight the inevitable? My dog has anxiety, he responds to that motto too.

I worked a whole 27 min on job search Thursday . Yesterday I set up a work area and I sat down for an hour and a half. A little improvement.
Thanks for this!

((((((((startingfromscratch))))))) Sorry you've had such a stressful week. I like your motto.

Well done for getting a lawyer! And for continuing with your job search. Good luck with these things!

I've done 3.5 things on my To Do list so far. I still have to buy my husband's Birthday pressie and reply to 3 of the emails. But I've still got Sunday

I have to call my credit card company. They've been sending me letters for months now :/
I have phone phobia, so it's really hard.
Please give hugs...

Hi I've been looking for ways to stop procrastinating and I found this thread. For today, I will do the following:
1. Address an issue when it comes in instead of moving it to the "ToDo" pile where it will get lost.
2. If I can't do it right away, I will write up briefly what needs to be done and see if any step or sub-task can be finished. Anything left over, I will schedule a time to complete.
3. For following through on this plan, I will reward myself with one hour of fun my choice this evening where I don't have to think about being productive.

For my September goal, I am going to work on organization 30 minutes at home and 30 minutes at work. Today, I did my laundry, dishes, and cleared one section of my apartment. I feel better when I see clear space. For work, I worked on combining data from multiple sources to better answer questions. When I can answer questions quickly and correctly, I feel more competent.

For home, I cleared part of my bedroom. For work, I continued to organize an information sheet to better answer questions.

Today I did my laundry so I will have clean clothes for work and grocery shopping so I have food to eat. I can spend tomorrow as I see fit.
