I have been trying, unsuccessfully, for some time now to change my self-esteem and negitive attitude. But I haven't been trying hard enough, without enough perserverence. Today is my day of change. I go in for a psych eval in the morning, and this is going to work this time. I am going to set a goal every day on this post. Probably more than one, even if it is only daily tasks or personal hopes for the day. I will stick to it, and post what did get accomplished of those goals. I can no longer live with myself the way I have been, and I can no longer ask the people I love to live with it either. This is the real day of change; this is the day I begin being the strong woman I know is deep inside me. She will overcome the hurtles and negitivity. I will be the person I want so desprately to be.

~6/26/12~ 1.) I will keep a positive attitude today. 2.) No matter what obsticle is thrown my way, I will remain in control of my emotions. 3.) I will remember that I am strong and able. 4.) I will wake up with my first alarm. 5.) I will tell the doctor everything as truthfully as I am able. 6.) I will get all chores accomplished. 7.) I will finish working on the kitchen. 8.) I will not smoke any cigarettes. 9.) I will do my best to ask direct questions and understand the answers to the best of my ability. 10.) I will remember to call my grandmother before 10 p.m.

Did a pretty good job today. Could have done better. But that is what tomorrow is for. Have to learn from today's experiences to make tomorrow a brighter day!

~6/27/12~ 1.) Ask good, direct questions. 2.) Wake up early. 3.) Job search. 4.) Get all chores done. 5.) Search online for jobs. 6.) Stay positive and motivated. 7.) Be awear of my tone of voice and keep my attitude under control. 8.) Don't let anything/anyone push me out of control. 9.) Be interactive and social. 10.) Take some time to be creative. 11.) Call my grandma.

Today was sort of crazy and busy. Didn't get a chance to post this morning... But I was pretty positive all day. No cigarette cravings (actually, I realized today that unlit cigarettes have that wonderful smell that I use to love as a kid. I didn't realize that had gone away!). I got a call for a job interview tomorrow. =) its just a gas station, but its better than nothing if I can get it! I also have my first appointment with my psychiatrist in the early morning. Hopefully that will go good. I got my chores done today, and made it through without any major emotional break downs. So, all in all, I'd say even though I didn't set any goals, today was pretty great! Just have to make it through the rest of the night. Have a few more chores to do... Its just so hot here... We almost hit 100 degrees today. Which only happens every 15 years or so here, I heard! Just hope there aren't any blackouts! I hate the heat and sun!

~6/29/12~ 1.) I will remain positive today. 2.) I will remain focused on the task at hand. 3.) I will keep myself hydrated. 4.) I will remain open minded at my psychiatrist appointment. 5.) I will portray an enthuiastic attitude at my interview (and not get lost!). 6.) I will return home and get chores accomplished. 7.) I will keep my attitude under control all night long. 8.) I'll get laundry done tonight. 9.) I will call my grandma!

~7/2/12~ 1.) I will wake up at 6 am. 2.) I will call my scripts in. 3.) I will call some of the places I applied at. 4.) I will get all chores done (finish laundry!). 5.) I will not smoke any cigarettes. 6.) I will remain positive all day. 7.) I will not let anyone else's attitude bring down my mood. 8.) I will think before I ask direct questions. 9.) I will do my best to make the right choices. 10.) I will not let my self-esteem issues over power me.

Okay, I haven't been posting daily, because its just sort of unrealistic. But I think I'm going to start writing down all my goals, as well. I need to start being true to myself and who I want to be. Really true.
