Hey everyone.

Christmas is usually a very stressfull time for me, as I'm guessing it can be for a lot of us. Even though I live alone and have little contact with family, I have decided to make this year's holiday as joyous as possible, and start 2015 on a positive note.

So I have made myself a list of things that need doing to facilitate a relaxed and positive holiday season.

First on my list was the mundane clearing & cleaning of my house...Big Job. Clearing out the spare bedroom and making it pretty on the off chance that someone may stay over...Positive thinking.

Yesterday I put up my Christmas tree and strung fairy lights throughout my courtyard.

Today I am sending a handfull of Christmas greeting cards...something I haven't done in years. Tomorrow I'm clearing out my fridge and writing a festive food shopping list.

Maybe no one will pay me a visit, maybe I won't be invited anywhere..... but I have to start being positive and have a go at rejoining the world.

I will continue to post my productivity updates here on the lead up to the holiday season.......You are all welcome to do the same

I just moved and I rent a room so I don't really decorate, however I did hang a christmas picture on my wall. I am looking forward to going to LasVegas for christmas. I go every year with my husband to my inlaws. We usually have a good time. It sure will be nice to get out of this town for awhile. Christmas will
be here before you know it. Still have some shopping to do. Wish I had the $ to do it. haha.
Thanks for this!

We put up the tree and outdoor lights today. I bought some holiday tablecloths to turn into curtains. I've mostly finished shopping but need to start wrapping and still have to mail out cards.
Thanks for this!

All Righty Then.....Just 2 weeks till Xmas and most everything is done....(Except all the cooking ofcourse). Just finished hand sewing my shantung silk ball gown for big New Years bash on Sydney Harbour..well actually formal ball skirt. I'm so proud of myself, it is just gorgeous. Champagne colour full length to the floor, box pleats with lots of frothy netting underneath. I am going to wear it with either my old Sex Pistols or Ramones Tshirt. Still a bit anxious about actually attending this big Party....but I gotta force myself to get out and about and start living.

Oh yes!...almost forgot....recieved 2 Xmas cards yesterday from people I haven't seen in years, so glad I made the gesture of sending cards this holiday season

I haven't decorated but I did get out some Christmas cards and have done some shopping. I made a blanket for my daughter and am about to start another one for my son-in-law. I'm feeling pretty good about the holidays this year.
