how do you stop when its what you do to make you feel better?
I eat when I am down or even board I have tried to find other things to do but i end up in the kitchen no matter what I do.
I also procrastinate (sp?) no matter how much I stare at the phone or the paper I need to fill out i just can never seem to get started.
I also have a money spending issue. I am no good at saving money. shopping makes me feel better and buy food makes me feel better too. GRRRR!

I have the same problem! The only thing that helps is to stay very busy, like cooking healthy dishes or taking care of my granddaughter. But I still eat too much stuff I shouldn't. I tend to shop at thrift stores when I feel the need to shop and I have to force myself to only buy what I'm sure I need or will use. But it does feel good to find something fun. Or sometimes I will shop for inexpensive craft supplies. But only a little at a time, and then I go home and start a project. It's easier not to snack if your hands are full of paper mâché or paint and glitter!

Thanks for this!
