Interesting. It came out in 2006, I wonder if it was trying to compete with The Da Vinci Code or what.

what does it have to do with that book?
that book came out much earlier...i think in 2004?

The movies both came out in 2006. They both do the "mystery" thing where they act like what they have to say is special and never heard of before, a conspiracy against regular people learning it, etc. Do you know about the background of The Secret, the religious group it's associated with?

it does not accociate with any religious group but more with people who are successful, who are useing it.

it`s just the simple low of attraction that this universe reacts to all of your thoughts and YOU and IT carry that out....

and by the way they DO MENTION that this "secret" has been taught and told many times b4........

The "Attraction" teaching has been around since the 1800s, it's part of the "New Thought" Movement, a larger movement which includes Unity.

It's an interesting thought, but not to me as represented in this fashion.

i've only seen the one that came out before Davinci code.. i can never remember titles! but it was in some way connected to Davinci Code...

Nowhereturn..i don`t know...to me at least...Davinci`s code is just a novel based of somethign that is either fact or not fact. i mean- maybe parts of it were facts but parts not.

LOA is more about the,,,,things you watn. what you give you attentions to - THIS what you will have..most chances.

ok, i believe in the principals of laws of attraction.. ive experienced personally and first hand...

I've read the book.Interesting! Works for a lot of people!! For me, I seem to work better with a formulated,structured,plan.

Well, it ended up in the self help forum anyway I think it belongs in the spirituality forum, but even so, the Davinci code is fiction and hogwash when it comes to God, imo.

Take what you can use and leave the rest

I enjoyed the movie..............gave me alot to think about. The book the secret, even more to think about. Which I think IMHO is what god wants us to do. Think and be kind to others, just my 2 cents. I could be wrong too.
