@Tart Cherry Jam I would love to contribute to your thread! Although my responses will be haphazard until I get used to posting consistently every day. My bedtime has been consistently 11pm. Will try to post at that same time every night. With my CPAP I have been sleeping straight through the night to at least 6am, which is amazing progress considering how my sleep used to be!

I think the AirSense 11 has a MyAir app, so I can try and find out how my sleep patterns have been and share them on this thread too. Thank you so much for allowing me to a part of your journey!

not allowing but inviting! will be honored. Like many people on these forums, I am amazed at your strength of character in the face of adversity.

Consistent 11Pm bedtime is an accomplishment and sleeping through the night, I must say, is a true blessing that eludes so many of us and which in the past you probably did not think was even possible.

@Tart Cherry Jam - Oh thank you for kind words! I have been trying to find peace in my life, and along that journey I am so thankful to meet people like you that make that so worthwhile.

As for last night - I went to bed at around 10pm and woke up at 4:24am. I have just been getting in and out of bed all morning, kinda just lounging around and trying to wake up. Have NO IDEA why I got up or (get up) so early, but I do feel a bit rested - although I will be needing a nap later, I can feel it coming on.

I did not have hunger pangs during the night and that felt good. I first woke up with the 7am alarm, took Levoxyl and amphetamine and then went back to sleep. Then I woke up and got up at 9, without an alarm and in a very good mood, ready to tackle the day. The way I feel now, I won't need a nap. Of course I am concerned that this good mood will spiral out of control into hypomania, but maybe skipping amphetamine on some days will prevent that. At least I know that I can always take 5mg of Zyprexa during the night and that will nip hypomania in the bud.

I need to ask the endocrinologist if it is Ok to take amphetamine and Levoxyl together. I know she generally prefers that Levoxyl be taken all alone.

I have the clocks still set to Daylight Savings Time. Right now the one I'm looking at says it's nearly 10:30pm even though it's really only 9:30pm. This motivates me to get to bed by the real 10pm.

When the moon is waxing as it is now, I find it difficult to sleep. But I put a black t-shirt over my face to ensure total darkness. Still, I wonder if I sense the moon's energy somehow.

Just recently I loosened my mask because of irritation around my nose. It seems to be a good tradeoff between leaking and comfort.

I've attached my latest CPAP stats from SleepyHead. The AHI (Apnea / Hypopnea Index) is supposedly pretty good (low). Without the machine, it would be awful.

@SquarePegGuy I agree you have excellent compliance!

I actually don't have Daylight Savings Time set in my car for some reason, I don't know why I don't, but I think it makes me do things earlier. I was up since 4:24am this morning so I should be tired, and I am not which worries me because it could be some hypomania.

I have an issue though - around the same time every day, (either 2pm or 6pm) I get REALLY tired and need a nap. I wonder is that normal? I mean I sleep for the most part, but I feel like the napping is hindering my sleep and it's the reason why I can't fully rest. Plus, I am dealing with my divorce and being alone for the first time in my life which is VERY unsettling.

Going to set a bedtime of 11pm for bedtime so I have to set a limit at how long I am going to stay on the computer. Want to go to gym bright and early too.

Thanks for sharing your sleep report @SquarePegGuy - I am going to share mine here too, (erased my name for privacy of course). But I think I'm doing pretty well. Haven't had my CPAP as long as you, but I think I am doing pretty well.

Thanks so much for this thread @Tart Cherry Jam it's been really helpful!

It's great that your AHI is very low @LadyShadow

I was in bed by 10:20pm last night, but then I read until 11pm. Woke up at 6am intending to do some deep breathing for a few minutes. Woke up at 7am for real and scrambled out of bed and rushed to get ready.

And in that rush, I forgot to take my effexor and nuvigil. At work I started yawning uncontrollably at about 11am. Fortunately it was just about a 10 minute spell, and I managed to get through the day without anyone noticing.

I'm thinking an 8-hour sleep is ideal; 10pm should be my cutoff, like @Tart Cherry Jam.

How about pouring out some of Nuvigil into an empty medication bottle and keeping it at work if you have a lockable desk drawer or in your backpack if you take a backpack to the office? For such "just in case" situations.

@LadyShadow: in this post

https://mysupportforums.org/7397817-post89.html you attached your report redacting your name but not your DOB. It is identifying to have your exact DOB posted on the internet. Please ask the moderators to remove that post, just in case, and attach it anew for us after you redact the DOB, too.

Yes what @Tart Cherry Jam said, plus the CPAP machine's S/N should be removed from just below that.

Here is the part about the AHI. I have something almost every day, but it is low. @LadyShadow I liked how on many days you have zero events, none.

@Tart Cherry Jam @SquarePegGuy

Hey guys! Thanks so much for letting me know about my DOB and serial number - I had a moderator remove the attachment and I am attaching another copy here. @Tart Cherry Jam - your serial number is on your attachment too; you might want to remove it as well for your privacy.

I really feel good that we are sharing this information. @Tart Cherry Jam - you have really good AHI but the leaks kinda spiked for a few nights on your report. Have you adjusted your mask or gotten a new one yet? I realized that I needed to replace the equipment on machine - I had wanted to make them last as long as possible because of insurance purposes, but it was really a relief to replace the actual mask.

Last night I only slept about 5 hours. I am not average 8-9 hours anymore - mainly I think because of stress and loneliness. I went to bed about midnight and woke up about 5am.

I honestly think my napping has a lot to do with it too. Do you guys get tired during the day? 2pm or 6pm is when I tend to take naps, that's probably what is messing with my sleep score. When I first got the CPAP, (FEB '23) I never napped and it really makes a difference in the data.

But of course! The serial number is a unique identifier. Got it. I will ask to remove and will repost tomorrow.

10:41 pm good night
