When I dissociate the only thing that seems to bring me back is... well... my husband will take my finger and bite it.
Sometimes he has to bite than other times. It all depends on how far "gone" I am. Is this a form of... I don't know...
assisted self injury or something?

I find it to be more of an unhealthy grounding technique
Thanks for this!

Grounding technique, like Kaika said... but it is rather unhealthy.

Perhaps discussing other methods of helping you to become grounded is a good discussion to have with your husband?
