Earlier, my self esteem was really low again. Instead of doing something helpful, such as working on my latch hooking project or reading, I took the object I use to c** myself & did it again; it wasn't a big one & really didn't bleed, which bothered me a little. I thought at the time, "(Certain names here), this is why I'm hurting myself." I really want to do this again & don't see what's wrong with it. I think, "I just c** myself & put a band-aid on it. There's nothing wrong with it."
I don't do this for attention. I do this to let go of the emotional pain I'm feeling. I know self harm isn't good, but it's almost like I enjoy treating my body like junk. I don't want to tell my psychologist again, but if she asks next week, I can't, & don't want to lie to her. I also want to go back to my old eating disorder ways. |

I can relate to what you are saying so you slipped so try not to do it again everyone makes mistakes i want to cut to i do not do it often but i think i may hurt myself really bad this time and i really do not care i have been fighting the urge since monday if i really hurt myself this time

SWA LUV - it does matter even if its a small cut - please try not to hurt yourself - try to do somthing else instead - its not letting the pain out even though it seems like it - its avoiding dealing with the emotions that are causing the pain..... I hope your T asks and you tell - thats the only way they can help us if they know whats happening please take care P7

can you ring your T (psychologist) in the meantime ? they may be able to help you through this.... if not keep posting.

Thanks, phoenix7. I can call my psychologist Monday & I see her Tuesday. Hopefully, I can make it through today without even any thoughts of hurting myself.
