i told some one about my cutting last night and she tryed to have me comited. now i have to see her tuesday and i know she is going to try to have me commited and i think she haves enought pull to do it. all this got me verry low so i went to the mall to jest be around sum happy people. but it jest made the need so bad that i stoped and bought a new nife. i know i shuld not use it and that i need to quit but i jest need to so bad. some one plx help.

As far as I know, unless you're a danger to yourself or others - nobody can have you committed. However, some people do benefit from time in the hospital for treatment of self-injury. Think of it as a break away from your lifes problems.

Talk to them, if they know anything about self injury then they know that most people don't do it because they want to kill themselves (suicidal intent) but because they just want to be able to cope.

(worning may be trig) you may be righ but were i cut thay offeten say it is suicidal intent. the thang with the hosbital is that one i get stuck in one i clam up and cant think straght. i made a big step back ward. i cut my selth today. i know i shuld not of but it felt so good. wel it did but now i fill like s@#$ . i was down befor but i am even lower know.

Go to the hospital and get it looked at. If you're cutting too deeply, you risk a lot of issues - including dying unintentionally, or developing an infection.

Do you have a therapist or doctor to talk to about this? If you don't, you really ought to be looking into finding a therapist especially.

no doc no srink no family. i cant aford to go to the hosbital. but the wound has quit bleeding so i think i am good

i am on the down hill slide. but i am supose to see a women about it tues day. tho she plans to have me cimmited. with sucks. couse it is like 30 days at least

You need offline help to deal with this. What resources are available to you in your city or nearby? Something for those with lower incomes? Otherwise, call a crisis-line. Those 800 numbers are free, and they'll be able to redirect you to resources in your area.

i try not to call the 800 # 1. i dont know them 2. thay are usely used for people who are thinking about sueaside. i have heard that if you say the wrong thang or give the wrong inpression you could find a fire truck at you'r door
