I wrote on myself with a red pen instead of cutting. I wrote the words that I wanted "inscribed". I'm glad I didn't cut, I hope it stays that way. The ink didn't take the urge away completely but did lessen it because I at least I did something. Is this positive?

One of the coping mechanisms is to do just that!! It can help a bit depending on a lot of different stuff, but I've done it and it sometimes works for me.

Good for you, I mean that.
