will it make the pain go away? For me, yes, it does, in the short term. But it's just a quick fix, the pain comes back again later, bigger and badder than ever. I have to remind myself of that. As much as it hurts to walk through the emotional pain now, if I can do it, it will be done and not just pushed aside to come creeping back up on me later when I least expect it.
Thanks for this!

Not really, ultimately - like zooropa said.

Fuzzy, try not to worry too much. Try to do something good for yourself. You do deserve it, right now especially but you always deserve good things for yourself.

It may take the pain away for a few seconds, minutes or perhaps even a quarter of an hour. But once that guilt sets in, it will only make things worse and you will maybe even feel worse than you did before.

It's no short term solution.

((((((((((((((((((((((Fuzzy))))))))))))))))) I am sorry you are feeling so bad. Unfortunately, it only helps for a very short time. I hope you are able to resist.

Please don't hurt yourself. I've cut before, too; I felt better in that I was able to let go of the pain, but felt guilty, too. Do you need to go to the hospital?
Thanks for this!

For me, When I cut I feel better for a few hours. Then after the initial "happiness" went away, I feel worse than before. I'm left feeling guilty and wonder if someone will see it. I do not want to explain myself to anyone. You don't want to cut Fuzzybear. It isn't worth it. *hugs*
