Yesterday morning I cut, my lower left arm, on the outside near the elbow. Thought if I was pressed I could say I slipped on some ice. Cut was about 1 1/2 inches long about 3/8 inch deep, got some nice blood flow. Just couldn't leave bad enough alone though, so this morning I exteded the cut to about 2 1/2 inches long and 1/2 deep.

Who knows what tomorow will bring, just hope I can get some sleep, didn't sleep at all Monday night and maybe two hours last night.

What's triggering you Mike? Probably not sleeping isn't helping Is there anything I can do to help? You were doing so well the last month, so I can't help but think that something has happened recently to make you want to cut.

I will be thinking about you! Please be safe and you know you can PM me about anything. Take care of yourself today

Yes Sannah I have an awesome therapist

Katileena I sort of understand what it is triggering me trying to move past some of my issues and making an effort to look at the deeper issues. Giving up some coping mechanisms that address symptoms trying to come to grips with inner turmoil. Clearly I’m not doing the best job of if.

Good work Mike! And yes, this deep inner work can be very difficult. Is your therapist aware of your difficulties?

It's a slow process to getting better Mike! You're working hard and really trying...that's all that matters! I think the more you work at it the better you will start to feel...you know I'm cheering you on!

It is really hard work, but sooner or later it will be worth it, and you could stop with the SI. Keep working with your T, since s/he will be able to help a lot, if you let him/her.
