im really scared right now. i used to cut myself once in a while as a way to releive stress or if i was really upset. lately i am relatively happy but i still want to cut myself all the time, like 3 times a day. im afraid im getting too dependent on it. When i don't cut myself then i am even more moody and on top of that i can't sleep and im upset all the time.

Do you have a T? If not I'd suggest you get one so you can find other ways to handle your stress.

SI is an addiction and a person really needs a therapist to recover..........

I have to agree with Sannah. The urge to cut does not just go away even if you haven't done it in a long time, or even for a few days. Therapists are there to help you. Getting a T is a big step to recovery but will be so worth it if you do.
