It's been ten months since my last SI. I was so proud of myself. I can't believe I failed... I did it again. I ransacked the sewing room and found my seamripper... I wasn't going to do it. I was just going to hold it, but the next thing I knew, the damage was already done...

what do I do now? I have to start all over again.

You went 10 months!! That is quite an accomplishment! Most, if not all people slip up. Get up, dust off and keep going! Do you understand what triggered this incident?

No, you don't start all over again, and you didn't fail

You move on, move forward, you learn, you live

I agree with Mike. You didn't fail. You have now learned something - you learned what triggered this episode. Now you know to avoid that situation or be prepared for how you're going to handle it in the future. Now you should forgive yourself and keep on going.

I agree with the others. It's not a failure, the fact that you've gone this long without is an accomplishment. Reset the clock, but you didn't lose those 10 months.

You didn't fail. It was an accident. If it happens again you should tell somebody and start getting help again. You should be proud though that you were able to make it for 10 months - that is AMAZING!!!
