I just couldn't help it. I feel like crap. I should be able to keep the feelings at bay. I can't believe I did it again.
Why do I feel like I can't stop myself? Why can't I talk myself out of it?

I think it's becuase you weren't yourself. but things will get better. You can talk yourself out of it next time. I did. But it took a lot of work. You'll make it thorugh it. We always do.
Thanks for this!

Feeling are not for being controlled. This is an impossible task. Feeling are for recognizing, feeling and then problem solving if you need to. Feelings are information. Are you working on this in therapy?

Not working on this in particular. Never thought of it that way. Thanks Sannah.

Beating myself up only makes for more anger and thus more SI. I have better success if I am patient and gentle with myself. I hope you can forgive and move on. We all fail, the only difference is getting back up or staying down.
Take care, friend.
