Hi, I'm new here. I stopped cutting 7yrs ago, but I tear my cuticles and bite my nails so far back they hurt. So I guess I'm not really SI free yet. I just started therapy (again, after 7yrs without) and told her that I use to cut. Just saying that, made me long for it again.
![]() I'm scared I'm going to lose it and start cutting again. |

its hard cause u'll still get the urges but 7years without is good. U may get the urges but u can fight it by thinking bout how it was good not to go through all that u go through after u do it the i dont want anyone to see the cuts because of the problems they caused. The anger u felt 4doing it. I hope that u dont cut. I know it can be really hard. Im sorry.

Good for you on 7 years, WOW!
![]() Sometimes talking about it will temporarily make the urges worse, but if you work on the reasons why you started cutting in the first place it can make it a lot easier in the long run for you to continue to NOT cut!
