Ok, so, I feel the need to update y'all on my SI struggle thing.
I'd promised people in the past that I would quit. But I've just promised someone else and I am really determined to keep my promise this time. So I just wanted to tell y'all that I was really proud of myself on Saturday night. Because the scissors were there and they were in my hand and I didn't use them because I didn't want to break my promise or lie and say I hadn't. So I didn't cut. And I was just really proud so...

Thanks. But I wouldn't celebrate yet. There's still time for me to screw up and fail.

Weeeeee! Congrats! I too have quit SIing, and while I understand the struggle, I know that this is much much better for me in the long run - and it will be for you too. I believe there becomes a point where you finally say to yourself "How much longer can I do this?" I told myself if I didn't quit right then, I would never do it. It takes immense courage, strength, and maturity to be able to quit. Those who can't simply aren't ready yet, but it seems as if you are!

Good luck with all your struggles. One thing to keep in mind: stay AWAY from anything triggering, and I'm telling you, you're going to find yourself a much happier person. Ugh

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh You took the first step in stopping SI. Don't worry about the future just live in the success that you did not SI that night. At some point you will make your own decision to not SI and not have to rely on outside influence. But for now enjoy your success. That is so awsome.

Cause, DUH, you are! Ugh

Don't forget that you can PM me anytime. I completely understand the emotions and uncertainty that you're feeling...but just taking it one day at a time is the best. I know, it sounds like being an alcoholic or something but that's almost what it is. Everytime you think about it just recognize that you're thinking about it, and quickly begin to think about something else. Eventually you'll forget ever thinking about it to begin with (does that make sense? Ugh )

Alright, I'll quit with the babbling. Good luck!
