Hey,
I have noticed that I just want to SI so so so bad. I havn't really dont anything about it... but I know that I want to. The feeling is like a monster creeping up to you just waiting to attack. I dont want to have to have that feeling anymore. I want to be able to controle my self. I want the idea's out of my mind. I really dont want the scares eather. I can talk my self out of it, but then why do I still feel like I should? sorry just venting about it I guess ![]() Thanks all! ~Jenny

SI releases endorphins that one becomes addicted to. So... after a while it is not just SI for what ever reason you started to SI it becomes a craving... Just like trying to quit drinking or smoking... there is SO much more wrapped up in it when we stop than what it was when we started.
I am glad to hear that you can talk yourself past it. That is a really good sign!

That's great that you can talk yourself out of it.........keep doing so, it may be hard but you are obviously doing something right and you know that you don't want to your thoughts are just getting in the way. Continue to stay strong

I understand my triggers as a whole, and I know why I want too... but it is stopping. I can keep from trying when I am having a semi normal day, but if somehing really really big and bad happends that is when I have trubble.

I am so sorry you are going through this. Please remain strong and resist the urges. When the thoughts creep into your head put a big mental red X over the thought and switch to thinking about something else as quickly as you can. I wish there was more I could do to help ![]()
