I feel like cutting myself really bad. I have to do some much just to fight off those feelings. I just don't know how much longer I can take all of this before I start to try and kill myself. Like a roomful of musical instruments some might excel in one way or another but nobody can match the symphonic sound when all are played together - Your symphony. You're rare and in all rarity there is enormous value and because of your great value the need for you to imitate anyone else is absolutely wrong.. You're special.. and it's no accident you are here. Please realise that God made you for a special purpose. He has a job for you that nobody else can do as well as you can. Out of the billions of applicants only one is qualified. Only one has the unique and right combination of what it takes and that one is you.. You're special.

Crying Child said some good stuff in her post to you. I have been where you are at. It is so hard not to give in to those desires because they give a measure of relief. But it doesn't have to be that way. You can get past this without harming yourself. I know life seems a little bit much right now but it can get better. Please take some time right now to tell us what is happening in your life that has pushed you to this point. Maybe we can give you some ideas on how to cope with it. Sometimes we focus so much on NOT injuring ourselves that we forget to work on what is behind the behaviour to begin with. If you are feeling suicidal please contact a suicide hot line.
