It had been over 2 years of not hurting myself physicall. I used alcohol instead. A few months ago I lost it and hurt myself. I was able to stop my husband from seeing it until it could be expained away as accidentally scratching myself since my skin was so dry. He went last weekend to get more things we needed from our old house, 700 miles away. I hurt myself, but not bad, on Sunday night. My husband is coming back in the morning and I am trying to figure out what to do about the marks. Help please!

maybe it's just a better idea to tell him..it should be some comfort to him that you went 2 years before you relapsed.. maybe he can help you stop again. You may as well trust him and be open because atleast it shows him you want to get better. If you don't tell him he'll probably just suspect it, which will make him feel ten times worse.

I hope that helped

I think you should be honest with him.. You need to let it out and maybe he can help you.

It's sweet to try 'n protect him, but you cant hide the truth from him. :/ He deserves to know and you deserve to be open..

Besides it can only cause more pain 'n stress. And you dont need that, dear.

Take care! Tell us what happens.
