I have a spoiled brat of a friend. She went to a musical in New York, this musical has the Green Day frontman, Billie Joe in the cast.

She got his autograph. She then proceeded to tell me all about it and I have been begging and pleading for weeks on end to go to this. And this total ***** gets it after rudely demanding it. The fact that she went, doesn't bother me because I was happy for her.

The fact she rubs my nose in it sickens and triggers me. I tried strangling myself with a necklace the night I found out. A little dramatic? Yeah but if you knew the ungrateful and boastfulness of this child you would too I swear.
I can't stand her anymore!!! She makes me want to make it all go away forever! My stupid rubber band on my wrist isn't helping!

Please help me!

Oh hun, it's such a pain when people are like this. Much like younger siblings antagonising older ones because they know if they snap the older one will get in trouble not them.
Please try to stay calm, hard as it may be. Deep breathing might help you not focus so much on what she's saying.
She doesn't sound like she's really being much of a friend to you though, and she certainly isn't helping you, do you have to hang around with/talk to her?
Keep being strong :-)

Thanks. I feel better today and uuuuh...I kinda ripped her a new butt last night xD she certainly earned it. She feels bad about it but I don't think she knows the full extent of it. Only one of my friends really knows and she helped talk to me last night.

But what scared me is I actually tried it. I actually tried making it all stop with a-ironically-choker necklace. I've never done that before.

So she evoked feelings in you and you couldn't tolerate these feelings?

I'm glad that you feel better. Good work finding someone who you could talk to and it helped.

Glad to hear you have a friend close to you who can help :-)
In a way being scared about what you did could be helpful? Hopefully makes you less likely to try that sort of thing again, cuz we don't want that happening!!

Okay, so my friend won tickets to see it again.

And she met Billie Joe again. Billie Joe in a purple sequin dress. And now I have his autograph along with the whole cast!!!! YAY! xD
Thanks for this!
