I was buzzing last night, and had the urge to hurt myself but I resisted. I used the 15 minute rule in 5 minute spaces, and deep breathing, thinking about why I didn't want to.
I should be pleased, but I just feel like I'm just putting it off further and its going to happen sooner or later...

Congratulations on getting through last night. If you can keep doing what you did last night, the urges should eventually back off. You just have to take it one day at a time and try not to get ahead of yourself.

It sounds like you did wonderful last night. That rule is excellent and if 5 minutes seems to long then go one minute at a time or whatever it takes. Sometimes it is rough to make it through some nights but you can do it. Hang in there. Keep safe.
