I had a really intense T session on Tuesday and have been having urges to cut since then. ugh. And it has been a while since I've had urges like this.

(((((((googley)))))) i know i am new to this site but i couldnt not reply. i understand those urges all to well and can be quite overwhelming. im so sorry that you are dealing with this right now. i hope you can find a way to resist but if you cant please dont beat yourself up or put yourself down just come here and let us show you some love and support and understanding. sending well wishes and positive vibes your way my new friend (i hope that is ok to say) good luck to you on your healing journey

(((googley)))) can you call your T about this? I know it can be hard esp after a tough therapy session - lots of feelings can be re-awakened.

the hard times makes us stronger... if we didn't struggle in therapy then why would you go. The point being there's going to be some hard times, but it always will get better, if we continue to put in the effort, and improve our lives.

I'm sorry.

When we're doing well, or when we get triggered, the urges seem to get stronger. The addiction knows we're winning over it, and wants to drag us back into it and back under.
