im ready to carve and cut and just give up... yea i have tried several things to keep my mind busy... and i been fighting this for days... sometimes ya cant fight all the time.. well im ready to give up... im holding off hoping i will get some support from here... giving it .... till later tonight.. then i will see how im feelin then... and if still bad then i will give in... im fighting

What have you tried before that's helped? Any distractions work?

takin a walk... writing.... playin with my puppy...music... tv.... chat.... nothin is workin

What kind of puppy? I have a little white dog with only one eye but a BIG happy heart. She's my favorite distraction. I figure I have to stay healthy so I can take care her.

i dont really understand how to get thorugh it.. just gotta keep willin myself to go one step at a time and focus in the NOW

It's not good if your mind is to busy believe me I know from my own life. And I'm sure happy I don't live in Japan or an area that has had some natural disaster. I feel very badly for all those who've suffered and are still suffering. The best thing is to just do something - anything - anything good or positive that is. Like watch a movie, get on the internet (there's just no end of stuff to do on the internet), take a walk around your downtown (day light preferably) or just sit and contemplate on stuff. With me anyway when I get to the most down mood - it never last - before I know it I feel better. Like today I was feeling very frustrated with my life and depressed (like I feel much of the time) then I picked up some around my house and now I feel better - mentally better. Can you think of something that will make you feel happier? My advice would be watch a movie you'd enjoy - a funny movie or go to a Karaoke site and sing or go to rhapsody.com and listen free to some music. write me anytime you want ![]() |
