Thank you everybody. I felt happy after the doctors. My mum is also keep asking me if I;m fine and I'm getting along with my mum now. Sorry for being negative. I am going to try and be postive.
Thanks for this!

This is wonderful! Have you started on the citalopram yet? Be prepared for any side effects - if you mood gets worse or anything abnormal happens make sure to call your doctor (it probably wont but just incase )

I think it would be great for you to get some counseling - that combined with medication can make a world of difference.

it's ok to be negative sometimes, but it's better to talk it out. When your mood is changing this much you have to be careful to take a step back an dmake sure to talk to others - sometimes someone a step back can give you some insight. It's so hard when all these things are happening.

How are you feeling today?

I just read this. I am happy that you reached out for help. I hope the medication helps and the counseling.

It is OK to have up and down days. I agree turquoisesea, it is good to vent/talk about it.

Talk to your doctor about having troubles sleeping.

Wishing you the best of luck.

Take those few people and run with it then. You are lucky that you have a few people. I'm very happy that you sought help and that your mum is being supportive. The glass is half full, not half empty.

Hey there,

I am really glad that you are getting the help that you need. It can be really hard to get help because of all the stigma that is attached but you are doing the right thing. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help especially with self injury. I have not been able to get help for si yet, but I am in counseling for depression. Recovery is tough and you can get through it. I know from personal experience that getting help from parents and doctors will not be an easy task. My parents still do not understand my struggles and it is really encouraging to see that your mom is on board with your recovery! Make sure that you look for the right doctor who listens and don't waste your time with doctors who don't listen carefully and get your full story. Best of luck in your recovery!

I need to wait for my referral to be accepted. I hope my referral will be accepted. Then when it's accepted I be able to see a counsellor.
Thanks for this!
