I see my T tomorrow. I saw her two weeks ago and she said she was getting frustrated with me continuing to push everything away.
I cut a couple of times in the last two weeks. I want to do it again to make the anxiety go away. What is she going to say now that I was stupid and cut? I don't want to go... but I know I have to |

She shouldn't "say" anything judgmental about it. It's a tool that people use to deal with negative emotions. It's not a healthy tool or the best one out there but there is no shame in taking care of yourself. Sometimes I think the shame from SI is more damaging than the scars. All you can do now is try again to find something else that brings you relief.

Can you talk about your anxiety today in session?

anxiety is hard to deal with, but not impossible. I do have one suggestion that could help, go for a walk, do something physical (yoga works great). It helps with the chemical process behind the anxiety, and really does help. Try to do so regularly, 2-3 times a week.

I saw my T today. She wasn't angry or upset or anything. Just gave me a chain analysis (DBT thing) to take home and do and talk about next week
