am isolated. no one really to call. if i cal t, she will say "well... do whatever you can to get through." and if i call a crisis line they will ask if i called t.

Look at the emotions that are going on that are causing you to feel this urge...analyze where they are coming from & then try to put your mind onto other things that will take your thinking away from what is causing those emotions.....just a thought & definitely easier said than done.....but worth a try.

Urge surfing is definitely not something I coined as a term. But thanks for the credit! Do you remember how to do it? http://www.mindfulness.org.au/URGE%20SURFING.htm

Sorry your T wasn't helpful. Still using the list of things you can do instead of SI? And boo to crisis lines saying that! Sometimes they really don't know how to be helpful.

Talk to us, we'll listen.
