I burned myself twice today and once yesterday. I notice I do it when life gets overwhelming.
I don't want to do it anymore, but I can't help it!
I will have to talk to my pdoc about it today because he asks me every time I go in if I've SI'd and I have to be honest.
He is worried about me because I am bipolar and have been depressed lately. I hope he doesn't put me in the hospital!

I have heard that people burn themselves when they are angry?

Yes, that is true to. I usually do it when I am overwhelmed, angry or really sad.

well, I went to the Pdoc and he was not happy that I hurt myself, but didn't get angry or anything like that. He made me promise I won't do it until at least friday when I see him again.

I'm glad you are getting help, that is huge. Please be gentle with yourself, and take things one day at a time. You can do it!
Thanks for this!
