hello..
I 'used to cut in Patterns' so one day I knew I could hide the affects of being 'addicted' to Cutting. I did 'Right' angles..lol. typical 4 my persona. I used to cut for many many reasons....but i was the 1 in control, so i chose to stop. the damage i did is made good by the skills of artists of 'Body Art'. To tell the truth, i wish in was still un-cut. ![]() ![]() ![]() i dont cut no more. ![]()

i always cut my left inner forearm. that way if i have to give blood and such i have an unscarred arm and dont have to be embarrassed. i at times cut my thighs when i used to carve words, "help me" "love me" . gave me more space to work with. i havent cut for a couple years now.

I made most of my cuts look like "accidents", usually requiring stitches. Hands, fingers, palms, elbows, forearms, toe and foot.
The majority of the not as deep cuts were to my abdomen.Several years ago I had major abdominal surgery. I was ashamed when the doctor saw my stomach naked. She rubbed her hand over the scars and looked at me quizzically, saw I was upset and said, "don't worry, I see that all the time. We'll work on that later". After I recuperated from the surgery she talked to me about a psychiatrist she recommended. I trusted this woman so I thought I would give it a try. That was 13 years ago and I still have this pdoc! Undeniably, she has saved my life in more ways than one. I haven't cut in a long time.

I also have two cuts right at the wrist from a few weeks ago again the scars are reddish and raised. I may just have to use an elastic bandage from wrist to elbow when I go back to work since I do not wear long sleeves. Best thing to do is not cut but if you are think of where you do it before. LW |
