I had been doing ok for the last week or so. Urges were manageable.

Tonight, urges are awful. I want to cut, or hit something.. break a bone, anything at this point. I need to not feel right now

hello nicole.
((nicole)).

Urges suck nicole. Hang in there. You are more strong than any urge. Trust me.

I noticed that you haven't posted in awhile. Do you understand why you were doing a little better?

What's the point anymore. I could just get it over with. I don't want to live like this anymore. Tired of this life and the constant battle to stay alive

Talking reduces the stress nicoleb. Instead of sitting alone, idle, self-pitying, it's better to whine. Atleast some people do listen. And some of our issues can be resolved by conversation. Give it a try.

Remember this is a site for those that are having difficulties, if it was a site that people just came to when they were doing well, then it would be a very different place and would need a different name. So please don't ever think you are just whining, we whine when we are suffering and we are here to listen to that pain and sit with you.

Sorry you are having strong urges - yuk they are horrible - hang on to the fact that they will pass though - Soup

i wish i could be there with you sweetie - is there anybody who would help keep you safe who you could perhaps visit a for a little while? Obviously theres loads of distraction techniques you could try but i know that once the urge gets too strong there doesn't seem like many other options. How about just trying to get some sleep, or going for a really hard run so that you wear yourself out? I really hope your ok honey, sending lots of hugs
Thanks for this!

What triggered you nicoleb? Please don't cut. Discuss it may be it will prevent you from self injury.

It seems like we whine, but in reality we are just venting what is going on in our minds. It does help.... Urges are hard, sui thoughts are worse. distractions help to a point, but all we can think of is just getting through the day. It's hard but we are all insearch of our "Happily ever after" but it takes effort to get to that point.
Thanks for this!

I am having a really hard time right now. I feel like my whole world is falling apart. I want to cut my wrists, really badly. I know that is the most effective location for me, but I've not done it. I am trying really hard to not do it
