how do you know if you should get stitches or not?

Um that's kinda hard to know. Are you able to stop bleeding? How deep us cut? I dont know the rule. Can you call ask a nurse?

Definitely go if you cannot stop the bleeding. Definitely go if you cut until you see white that could be ligaments or tendons or bone. Definitely go if it cant stay closed on it's own. Definitely get help if you arent safe to stop harming yourself. If you are still unsure what to do, it cant hurt to seek medical attention. SERIOUSLY. You are important. I dont know where you cut, but if it was your arm you
could bleed to death , even other places, you dont want to get an infection or lose the use of a hand or something. Sending you hugs. Im sorry you were in such deep pain you hurt yourself so badly. You dont have to do that anymore.
