Good work resisting the urges. I know how hard that can be. Stay strong.

If you give in to this urge, you're starting another vicious cycle of guilt and SI. Don't do that to yourself.

I'm talking about life in general not just the SI. How are things going for you?

We're all just understanding people on the internet. I can't exactly help you in real life. Trust me, if I could come over and sit with you, I would. But YOU are the one standing in between death and a second chance at life.

hun, listen. theres so much to live for out there! and dont think this is coming from some unknowing person because ive suffered with a selfharm addiction for three years now. i mean of course youre going to relapse, but try and not do it a lot. look, the only thihng youre doing is hurting yourself and others, you may think its helping at the time, but not so long afterwards when you feell like doing it again, youre going to realize it was a mistake. hang tight lovey!

your friend,
Jodi

huntatwa, if I remember correctly you don't have a therapist? Therapy is really important for you right now.

What are you working on with the therapist (if you don't mind me asking)?

My god according to what u wrote weve got lots in common, though i dont even try to control myself when it comes to si. I find that my cuts are getting deeper and deeper and i feel like dying just now. I go to a T but it doesnt help much since i dont talk. So my life sucks. If u see a T speak your mind to him and then youll probably get help. And if your trying to control yourself DONT give in. Have self control. Cutting sucks. It so does not pay to do. Gluck with controlling yourself- i know how hard it is. But dont be a loser like me and give up. It so does not pay to get into anything messier.
