i never like to read on this forum. but due to recent crazy breakdown in my head i come here often and just read. hoping for what? don't know. this forum has been screaming at me lately so i just lurk.
why when i read about others doing it, why does it makes me want to do it too?
haven't done it in 12 years...used to do it really, really bad but i managed to stop. now i seem to be backsliding to old thinking patterns, old memories, old feelings and emotions and with all that seem to be wanting old coping back. of course i don't really want this, it just seems like it's the only thing that will help me cope right now. i'm sorry, just had to tell someone. sorry. trying to fight the urges so hard. feeling so sad.
Hugs from:
Mike_J
Thanks for this!

Are you in therapy?

I hope you can keep fighting the good fight, and that you don't relapse, 12 years is a long time a great streak, you should be proud of yourself. For some of us 12 days is a huge accomplishment.

Sometimes I find this forum triggering, too, especially if I'm already feeling vulnerable.

Did it make you feel any better to post here?

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
