I've been real stressed between home work and physical issues and I've been hitting myself in the head when angry. I've been dizzy since yesterday. Should I tell my doc who is seeing me for endo?

I'm afraid I'll be committed or something. Irrational fear?

People are committed for being suicidal or homicidal and SI is neither. I would get it checked into. Your brain is really important. You can do permanent damage by hitting yourself in the head as boxers and football players are realizing now. Please do not hit yourself in the head. Do you have a T?

I was put on 72 hour "hold" for SI, I wasn't suicidal or homicidal, spent the worst night of my life in the psyc hospital, once I saw a psychiatrist the next day he quickly let me go. But I was locked up just for SI, and it was made very clear to me that in my state WI, any SI event in the past 72 hours or a perceived risk of it in the next 72 hours is enough to get you locked up.

I'm glad you got checked out by your doctor.
