i cut a bit and i dont want to tell my T when i cut idk when to tell them if i do or dont i dont want to be in put in a hosp and i am kinda scared its the frist pdoc i will be to and frist time seeing this T any tips

I would say get it out in the open and talk about it. I tried to hide my cutting from my T and then when she did find out i shut down was very angry and refused to talk....yeah that almost got me thrown in the hospital. Dont do it the way i did!

i am thinking about telling them i cut but tell them i dont feel comfterable talking about it what do u guys think

that is good.

my first t only asked a few questions about it initially. then rarely mentioned it again.
second t never said anything.

i think its that they know.

(i didnt directly tell them. i gave them both a poem about it.)

They usually ask you at the beginning. I think it's good to mention it because hiding it can get you hospitalized. Depends on how bad you do it, I guess. BUT if you say you're safe. they will make you sign a contract stating you won't kill yourself, but that's just basically for their protection. Also, it's always made me feel a little better knowing that I made a promise to someone.
