I cut the sides of my feet when extremely anxious. Does anyone else get triggered by extreme anxiety?

I cut my fingers (usually, sometimes other places) when my anxiety gets too bad, well I am really trying not to do that any more but I still get the urges.

That was my main reason for continuing to si. It's the only thing that I ever found that could stop a panic attack instantly.

Originally, the only reason I ever SI'ed was to prevent/stop panic attacks. However, over time it escalated and got to the point where I cut whenever I feel stressed or upset or insulted. Now, I find it's not worth it, and it never was. I can't stop now.

yes, I didn't cut though I used to put my smokes out I stopped after I filled up my left arm down to like the t- shirt line. I stopped for like a year and then started again on my legs. Thankfully it's been quite sometime since then... now when I get panic attacks I eat if I can't eat I lay down in a recliner and brace myself.. till I tire out and fall asleep. or twist my hair up and pull it out, but I've done that since I was really young and I do it all the time. But I won't lie it crosses my mind a lot.

Yes, definitely. Like when you feel so keyed up you want to tear out of yourself from the inside? Really makes me want to burn and feel that release.
