I'm battling to give up this combo. I know I feel likr a zombie, but it knows me out until I'm numb. I could presumably put myself and others @ risk when I drive. I promised myself I'd go to pospital if I was tempted to numb out

Acknowledging the problem and seeking to do something about it is a great first step. I know that it can be extremely hard to give up something but don't give up.

Having a plan of what you can do is great too - which you seem to have. May I suggest if you haven't already, that you write down exactly why you want to stop and what you are wanting to do when you become tempted, including phone numbers and addresses etc? It can help when temptation takes over as you don't have to think as clearly and can refer to the piece of paper you have written. It has helped me in the past with another form of addiction.

I think a proper action plan would help me.

"Why I want to give up"? - I guess, because I just know it's wrong?
Thanks for this!
