ive been on medication for almost two years and ive done really well. but lately, all i seem to think about is just unwrapping my old razors and cutting myself up. i also find myself constantly thinking about how i could possibly kill myself in a lot of random situations. and it wont even being a building thing, more like in passing. as i walk down the street or sit and watch tv.its kind of scary really. i hope that after my reevaluation, i can get onto a new med that will help me get over this 'phase' (hopefully a phase) that im going through.

Hi Asherton, welcome to PC. These SU thoughts sound like they might be intrusive thoughts which come from anxiety? I read your profile where you mention you have been diagnosed with anxiety plus you wrote that you are about to go away for college. This would increase your anxiety. Going away for college, very good!! This change can cause anxiety, this is so normal. You can do it, though! Increased anxiety would cause SI urges. You mention taking medication but have you been in therapy? Will you be able to get a therapist at college? Therapy is really good for depression and anxiety.

Sannah said everything I was thinking. Remember how hard it was to quit SI in the first place because it will be way harder if you go back to it.
