Longer sleeved tops? Please dress wounds if they need dressing - they could get infected otherwise. Would it really be so bad if someone who cared about you knew you were doing this? They may actually be able to support you. I hope you're receiving help in finding other ways for coping with how you feel. All the best.

Rap your wrist and say you jolted in and it has to be braced so it doesn't get worse... Then take it off when it's healed. Then don't do it again... Hugs of understanding from me and best wishes

I have those large wrist splints that I was given for my carpel tunnel syndrome. If I have a particularly bad "event," I use these to cover the cuts or burns.
After bandaging my arms these splints are very effective, in keeping questions to a bare minimum. |

Yup. "Fall" and "sprain" your wrist.. a simple ace wrap will do. OR watches or jewlery. I prefer the ace wrap myself.... but make sure you trat your wound, seek medical attention if you need it and be more careful. when burning matches work well to make sure you dont hurt yourself too bad because there is no metal involved and the flame goes out. It still hurts and burns and scars but will leave less room for problems...
