I use to cut. And stopped.

Now I just started scratching. Not like, "I have an itch" type of scratch.

It's more of a scratch that covers all of both legs.

But I still don't feel better.

No endorphins Being released I guess...

Well, technically you are injuring yourself. Of course, some scratches are worse than others. It certainly isn't a healthy thing to do to yourself.

Are you in therapy for this issue or for something like borderline personality disorder, if it's related to a more comprehensive diagnosis? I definitely think you are prone to trying to injure yourself, whether it's helping or not. And you need to seek help, so you can be nicer to yourself.

Anything that injures you is SI.
Thanks for this!

I have a therapist. But i Wally don't like her. She makes things worse.
No diagnosis. Nobody believe what I tell them. They don't think I'm suffering.

Asking if it is SI, means that (at least to me) you may already be concidering it as SI. If you have to ask, then it most likely is.

I had to ask, and in my mind I already considered it to be SI.

But that's my experience. My pdoc doesn't consider it SI, but to me and my T it is. It's how you look at it.

Then its time to find some one that does.

I know the answer to my question. I was just hoping it wasn't SI. But I guess you're right :/

Have you tried the squeezing ice cubes, in a clenched tight fist trick, as an alternative release ? No injury, with this and apparently it works.
